  Horse care is part of our program. You will learn how to groom, saddle and do all aspects of horse care along with riding. If you want to learn to ride, but don’t know what discipline or what direction to go in, this is the perfect place to let us help you or your child get started. All riding is taught based on a mechanically correct / balanced seat position, that allows the safest and most effective seat for the rider, that allows optimum communication with the horse.

 

     Groundwork is a key component of horse training. Whether you have a problem horse or simply want to deepen your partnership with your animal ground training is a perfect way to improve obedience, confidence, fitness and overall communication with your horse. Instruction in ground training provided.  

         

    A certified dressage instructor with 30 years of experience in dressage, jumping, and cross-country riding is always available. English riding and over fences training is based in the German light/ forward seat style that we use today.  

   

  If you are a new rider, or returning rider, lessons are tailored to the students’ goals and learning style. Teaching is conducted with a kind, relaxed and understanding tone with attention to students’ comfort level, being paramount. Riding can easily become the love of a lifetime if done without fear, but with a competent and safe approach. 

 

  We have safe, suitable horses for every student, and ship ins are also welcome.

  Group lessons are $45.00/hour (maximum 3 students per session)

  Private lessons are $ 50.00/hour
